Rich functionality of automation business processes, reports order, clients contact management are only a few advantages of CDN XL system, which decided that Extrem chose this system.

 

Objective of the implementation

The main objective was to control work of Extrem salesmen. Their job is to gain new clients and have a good contact with present clients. Before system implementation salesmen made reports in paper form.  It connected with huge work of people in the office. Time they had to spend for visits analyses, salesman accounts or making orders was incommensurate to benefits from salesmen work.

The task for Graphcom the CDN partner which implemented CDN XL in Extrem was to transfer most of duties to the salesmen. All information which were interesting for Management of Extrem should have been placed in specially CRM system configuration. The Management should have had access to the salesmen reports so that would have been able to review as well as analyze all information easily. Next task was to prepare suitable workplace environment for working salesmen. The interface should have been prepared to show only some special information defined by Extrem. The CRM functionality also should have been limited. 

The system characteristic

After making  pre-implementation analyze the Extrem Management received a solution which was accepted and finally implemented in CRM module in CDN XE system.

Because of Comarch (CDN XE) and Microsoft (Server Terminali, VPN etc. ) solutions integration the salesman may quickly and safety connect with the system using only internet access, based on GPRS technology or any other connection. Connecting with CDN XE system installed on Windows Server 2003 platform allow salesmen  working safely without interference in work server stability (because of technology Group Policy and Active Directory). CRM in CDN XE system is the only module which may be start up. The module was implemented so as fulfill all Extrem security requirements. It was possible because of used obligatory filters, bans and especially interface definition technology. The interface definition technology (also known as small hydra) allows hiding and deactivating controls, labels, buttons etc.

Also there is possibility to extort an entry of values.

Implementation Department made range of printout/reports which task is to gain all necessary information which are used in analyzes and control by employees work in head office. Those information concern all employees as well as single employee.
Summary

After implementation and training a team of salesmen the cooperation with clients became more clear and coherent. The integrated workplace permit faster and more efficient work. The Extrem management has unlimited access to all reports, on which various analyzes may be made.

Big requirements about classified data area for working salesmen were fulfill thanks to high technology. In the result of effort of programmers and people who made implementation the salesmen have access only to clients data. The access to all printout was blocked, so they may use only some system functions. Of course they have no possibility to make any operations on the server they work remotely.
